well. the nj shoot was yesterday. personally the wins was a great high for me =) many congrats and thanks to Connor Henry and James for training hard and kicking TP ass. (now its TP no longer NTU haha). Go for hte GOLD! AGAIN!!!hahaha
on a more personal level. i'm sorry to so many whom i've let down with my terrible shooting yesterday. dun say its okie. coz i noe its not. deep down we all wished that we could have gotten something. thanks for all ur wonderful support though. and all ur help and advice =) especially james and mabel. (my problem is complex haha so thanks for trying to solve it end after end after end)
on the most personal level. i have lost my FEELING completely. i can only find it when i'm doing bow pt. but when theres loaded arrow and a target sheet infront of me. everything i've learnt just flies right out of my head. i cant even pull the string to my face, let alone anchor. i SEE that the strign is so not alligned but i just want to release all the more. i see that my sight pin has shifted away from the yellow but all my mind is focused on is release. and release i do. a terrible release, most of the time with extreme plucking and inconsistent follow throughs. the most basic of basics. all my basics, i cant feel them anymore when i shoot. i feel like a recre archer =( .
is it any wonder that my score barely cut 300 (my total score for 2 rounds) . . . . and ITS NOT THAT I DUN HAVE THE STRENGTH. i have tonnes of it. and its no use telling me to pull more! anchor harder! hold longer!. . . ive told myself a billion times for every single time those phrases are shouted out during team event. but i noe thats all u guys can see when i'm shooting, that i'm not holding long enough or anchoring hard enough. but the problem goes much deeper than that. its all in my head.
so how do i get it out?
feeling terrible.
P.S: heya Kristy. if u ever read my blog haha i wont tease u infront of him lah =) just away from him hehe. dun take it to heart k! =)
P.S.S: thank you for just being around the whole day =P
